heritage family school curriculum
heritage family school curriculum is design to
give your child a hands-on experience and knowledge of jewish
traditions, rituals and values. it is often upgraded to include
topics that reflect your children growth and development. torah
study is an important part of the lesson structure that is taught
with age appropriate tools in every grade level. hebrew is incorporated in the study during the day activities. hebrew reading class is planned for older grades and up.
we usually do not give our students any
homework. the only classes where homework may be required are bar
and bat mitzvah and russian drama classes. we count on parents'
understanding and help with the process of learning these
languages. encouraging your children to go over their assignments
will save them classroom time for doing new activities and will
allow your children be more active and visible at the
celebrations and performances.
thank you for your continued support.
